Language Issues

If you receive the following error: bea.jolt.ApplicationException: TPESVCFAIL - application level service failure , then you might have your browser or computer set to a language other than English (US).
Correct this by modifying the URL to read "&languageCd=ENG" where 'ENG' is the language you are currently using (i.e. EUK or CHN).

  • You may also bookmark this modified URL for future eCampus logins.

View Enrollment Appointments

Enrollment appointment times are assigned by the number of earned credits reflected in your academic record. Appointment times are viewable on your e-Campus account. To access your enrollment appointment time, log onto e-Campus and navigate as follows:

Home > Self Service > Enrollment > Enrollment Dates

View Holds and To Do List

Holds are an important part of your enrollment at URI. If you have a registration hold, you will not be able to register even if you are given an enrollment appointment. Holds may be given for past due bills, failure to vaccinate, failure to meet with your advisor for a mandatory meeting, or other reasons. To see if you have any holds log onto e-Campus and navigate as follows:

Home > Self Service > Campus Personal Information > Holds

The To Do List is more important for admissions applicants, but is also an important feature for current enrollees. This feature of e-Campus primarily lists missing documents waiting to be submitted by a student. These include Admissions application components, Financial Aid application components, loan entrance counseling and loan applications/surveys. All students should check the To Do List. To see your To Do List log onto e-Campus and navigate as follows:

Home > Self Service > Campus Personal Information > To Do List

Transcripts

All alumni who graduated after 1982 should get their official and unofficial transcripts through e-Campus. Alumni who graduated before 1982 should call Enrollment Services to obtain a copy of their transcript. To request an official or unofficial transcript log onto e-Campus and navigate as follows:

Home > Self Service > Academic Records > Request Official Transcript
Home > Self Service > Academic Records > View Unofficial Transcript

Please note that these phone numbers are not automatically entered into the URI Emergency Alert system; you must enter that contact information separately.

Email Aliases

As of May 11, 2012 email aliases are no longer offered as there is now one new User Login ID for all University systems.

ITS has created one, secure, standard, user login ID that will allow you to access all URI-supported applications and systems such as Sakai, Wireless, Voice-over-IP, and e-Campus with the same login ID. This will eliminate login problems when you move from one system or application to another.

Your new login ID will consist of your e-Campus ID followed by @uri.edu; for example:

  • johnz@uri.edu where johnz is your e-Campus ID

Your password will not be affected!

However: Because in the past we allowed users to create an alias email ID for their @mail.uri.edu email account, many alias email IDs ending in @uri.edu already exist. They may be a duplicate of someone else’s e-Campus ID, thereby causing a conflict under the new one login ID system.

Please note: Email IDs in either of the these two formats will be NOT be affected:

  • @mail.uri.edu
  • @uri.edu

To resolve any ID conflicts, ITS staff will:

  • Contact the owner of the e-Campus ID that is a duplicate of an existing email alias ID.
  • Assign that person a new e-Campus ID.
  • Create a new mailbox at mail.uri.edu for them and transfer all content of the old mailbox to the new one.
  • Set up permanent forwarding of email from the old address to the new one to maintain continuity of email service.

At most, only 200 users campus-wide will be affected by the change to the one login ID system.

If you have any questions, contact the Help Desk at 874-4357 or helpdesk@uri.edu.
