The Help Desk mission is to improve the URI student experience by providing excellence in tech support to members of the URI community. Our priority is customer service. Our main goal is to resolve client issues on initial contact. When a ticket is assigned we will track the ticket until the issue is resolved.

We are located in the Kingston Library basement, Lower Level (LL19). When entering the library from the main entrance, head to the main stairwell at the right and downstairs to the basement. At the bottom of the stairs, signs direct users to the right (LL19 Help Desk) or to the left (LL4 Computer Lab). Please see the Circulation Desk on the first floor for elevator use.
When users call, Help Desk consultants fill out a trouble ticket detailing the problem and documenting the user's contact information for follow-up calls. However, users may fill out their own Remedy Ticket online. We strongly encourage those who do so to enter as much information as possible, including at least one point of contact.
